Badminton and Tennis-By Taisei

Badminton and Tennis are alike in many ways. Badminton and tennis are alike because they are both played with rackets. Also both games are played on a court and the point of the game is not to touch the net. They are also in both Olympics sports. You need 2 or 4 people to play the game. Badminton and tennis are different in many ways Also in tennis you serve outside of the baseline and in badminton you serve inside the line. Tennis uses a ball and badminton you uses a shuttle cock. Tennis balls can bounce but badminton shuttle cocks can not bounce.

Kensuke Yada-Yuji Kawamoto

Yuji Kawamoto He is Yuji Kawamoto. He is 12 years old. He has a brother, Yuichi and a sister, Yuko. They are good brother and sister. They live in Kyoto. But he is in Italy　now, Because he is on to a club team trip. He is in a baseball team called 'Ball Kyoto'. He is a best player in his club team. He likes baseball very much. This team is practicing with an Italian team. He is Yuji's friend. Mike is a better player than Yuji. Their battle is coming next week.

Last Saturday,I went to an Abba concert with my friend Monica.She is a musician,too.We both love Abba.Especially Dancing Queen.When we were little,we both wanted to be famous singers.We imagined a situation that we were both singing and dancing together in a big stadium.Well,years later Monica became a very famous singer,which means she became a real star. But I became .....`An ordinary junior high school student!"I screamed loudly.`What did you say?"asked Monica.`Nothing I replied,looking at her.These days she started dieting again.I don't think she's fat,but her point of view...`A star needs to always be beautiful!"I don't care what she does but I don't want to eat that disgusting diet food that she gave me.`How did you get such a beautiful body?"I asked her.`Do I have to answer that now?Let's keep that question for later.First please look at those girls.Aren't they beautiful?"`Their bodies?I think you look better." `No!Their instruments,silly!I love the drum best,but bass and classical instruments are good too!"Monica was right.I liked the classical instruments best.I thought they could only be played in an orchestra,so I was bit surprised to see them in a rock concert.It was such a fabulous concert.I thought that maybe I could be a musician.No,I can't,because I'm...`Ordinary high school student!"`What!?"

I erase the board at school. I speak English at school. I write my at school. I read book at school. I speak Japanese at school. I play on the play at school. I draw pictures at school. I eat bread or rice at school. I watch TV at school. I wash my hands at school.

Fumino-The Last Sports Festival

On the morning of my final sports day,I went to school at 8:30 wearing school's sport's wear.It was quite cold,so I wanted to change my clothes at school.However,all children had to change at home.When I got to class,everybody was there.Everyone was so excited! At 9:00,the teachers explained the schedule for the day.then we all went outside to the sports ground.First,I had to explain the rules in the opening ceremony.I was so nervous!Then it begin!First,1st graders showed a dance to the audience.It was so cute.It remained me of when I was in 1st grade.I wore a cute costume too.Then,I had work to do.I had to put the gun powder inside the starter gun.It was going to be load so I wore ear covers.It was fun! Then it was lunch time.i ate lunch with my grand mom and mom.It was delicious.After lunch,it was time to start again.We raced.I was so tired after racing.Next,students from other grades showed us a dance.Finally,my grade and 5th graders showed a lot of human pyramids.It was beautiful! My last sports festival was over.It will be my vest memory forever!!

Kensuke-My Winter Vacation

My Winter Vacation was very busy. I ran, ran, ran and did a lot of homework. I ran 67kms over the winter. I played games every day, so I had a hard keeping on top of my mountain of homework. On new years day, my grandmother, my grandfather, my mother, Kohei, and I played cards and mah-jong. We like these game. We had a good time. I want to play again next time. It was such a busy vacation that now I want to rest.

Katy's diary Air transportation By Fumino

Well,last summer I went to Canada by jumbo jet.The plane was huge!Of course,I have traveled around by jumbo jet before,but it was bigger then I remembered.First,I payed airfare to an airline.IT　WAS SO EXPENSIVE!!As I boarded,lots of crew helped me.I had a lot things in my head!There was a paper about jet engines in the back of the seat.it said,jumbo jets have jet engines.A jet engine looks like a fan that spins very fast.It sucks air in and then makes the air very hot.it shoots the hot air out the back of the engine and makes the jet go forward very fast.Finally it said,`Only rockets can go faster than jet engines.while I was on the plane,I saw a video about fighter planes.There was supersonic fighter plane in the video.The video said that it's so load.Then the video talked a little about a weird plane called `Space ship one"This space ship can go to space and come back on the same day!Isn't it wonderful!And it said,`Some day we might be able to go from New York to Tokyo in only two hours!"Wow!! Right now,it's impossible.My suggestion.Please make airfare cheaper!Well,this is true.So I hope, in the future it's cheaper than now.When we landed at Canada's airport,there was helicopter.I know helicopters can hover and fly backwards.Helicopters are cool!Aren't they?Well,because I was in an airport,I was able to learn a lot about plans.It was quite interesting to learn about planes!!
