High Peaks-By Ui

In some parts of the world, mountains rise high into the air. Near the top of some mountains it is always cold. Snow covers them all through the year. Very few plants can grow near their peaks. The Matterhorn is a high mountain between Switzerland and Italy. Thirty of the highest mountain peaks in the world are in the Himalaya Mountains. This huge mountain range is in the far north of India. The world’s Highest mountain, Mount Everest, is in the Himalaya.
